From setup to year-end close

Every workflow in Fynaro, briefly explained. If you get stuck anywhere, write to us — we answer personally.

Getting started

Create your account and set up the company. Fynaro is ready to use right after.

  1. 1Create an account and confirm your email.
  2. 2Enter company details: name, UID, address, QR-IBAN.
  3. 3Choose the VAT method — effective or net tax rate.
  4. 4Optional: import data from bexio, Abacus or Banana — as CSV or Excel, with preview and undo.

Moving from another system

Bring over contacts, chart of accounts and opening balances — even mid-year.

  1. 1Create an export in the old system: bexio, Abacus, Banana, or any CSV or Excel file (.xlsx).
  2. 2Upload the file under Import and migration. Fynaro detects the format and shows a preview before anything is written.
  3. 3If the file contains balances, debit and credit are checked. A difference above one franc aborts the import — deliberately, rather than posting a lopsided opening balance sheet.
  4. 4After importing, “Undo import” reverses the whole run. Records already used in postings are kept.

Invoices & quotes

Create, send and track QR invoices per ISO 20022.

  1. 1Create a contact or take one over from the import.
  2. 2Enter the invoice: line items, VAT rate and due date.
  3. 3Send it — the PDF carries the QR payment part and the journal entry is created automatically.
  4. 4If payment is late, start dunning; staged up to debt-collection preparation.

Banking & payments

Reconcile account movements and pay suppliers.

  1. 1Export the camt.053 file from e-banking and upload it.
  2. 2Review and confirm the matches — open items are settled.
  3. 3Enter supplier bills and export a pain.001 payment run.

VAT & closing

Produce the filing and close the month or year cleanly.

  1. 1Pick the period; Fynaro computes output and input VAT per rate.
  2. 2Review the filing and transfer the figures to the FTA portal.
  3. 3Open the month close: bank reconciliation, VAT check, deferrals and anomalies are reviewed.

Payroll

Run payroll and produce payslips — no per-employee surcharge.

  1. 1Add employees with salary, workload and social insurance details.
  2. 2Calculate and review the payroll run for the period.
  3. 3Distribute payslips as PDF; the journal entry is created automatically.

Bringing in your fiduciary

Your fiduciary works directly in your data — no export needed.

  1. 1In Settings, invite under Team and pick the “Fiduciary” role.
  2. 2That access does not consume a user seat and can be revoked at any time.
  3. 3As a fiduciary: switch or create mandates under “Workspace” at the bottom of the sidebar; overview in the portal.

Recurring revenue

Invoice and defer subscriptions, retainers and membership fees correctly.

  1. 1Create a recurring invoice with an interval — sending runs automatically.
  2. 2Connect payment providers (Stripe, Payrexx, Wallee); MRR and churn appear in the cockpit.
  3. 3Record annual contracts under Deferrals; the recognition schedule is computed to the rappen.

Settings & subscription

Plan, credits, team, integrations and backups in one place.

  1. 1Manage the subscription and switch plans; invoices live in the customer portal.
  2. 2Buy AI credits if the monthly quota runs out.
  3. 3Invite your team, set up webhooks, check backups.
